Louis Vuitton has held this address for 40 years, but only recently have they opened the newly redesigned seven-storey tower. Architect Jun Aoki and his team designed the building’s exterior to resemble waves of water that reflect sunlight. The LV logo sits atop the water column in Tokyo’s Ginza district.
The store is complete with a boutique, café, and chocolate shop. It will also stock women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and leather collections, as well as accessories, jewellery, watches, fragrances, travel sets and city guides. To kick off the re-opening, Louis Vuitton also launched an exhibition featuring products from some of their most famous Japanese collaborators.
